Alex T. "Ec" Christian

Alex T. "Ec" Christian, 81, of Wellston, Ohio, went to be with his Lord peacefully on Tuesday morning, March 31, 2026, at Four Winds Community, following a brief stay there. He was born in Wellston on January 4, 1945 to the late Alex T. Christian and Helen Hawkins Christian, He was a 1963 graduate of Coalton High School. Following graduation, he was employed at Athens Flooring Warehouse for several years.He worked as director of the Percheron Horse Association in Fredericktown, Ohio, for over 30 years. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: infant Mary Ellen Christian and Marilyn Christian Ray, and by four brothers:  Dave, Ed, Gail, and an infant brother. He is survived by two brothers, Mel D. Christian and Bert F. Christian, both of Albany, Ohio; two sisters, Naomi Wallace of McArthur and Carol Orsborn of Wellston; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Friends may gather at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Wellston on Saturday from 1 to 3 P.M. Services will begin at 3 P.M. officiated by his brother, Pastor Bert.
