Donald Remy

Donald L. Remy, 86, of St. Rt. 683, McArthur, Ohio, passed away on Sunday evening, June 23, 2019, at Oakwood Community Health Center in Jackson County. He was born in Ray, Ohio, on March 12, 1933, to the late Ralph and Hazel French Remy. He was a self employed logger. He was preceded in death on October 4, 1999, by his wife, Ethel Louise Ward Remy, and by two brothers, Clarence and Clyde Remy. He leaves behind a son, Don E. Remy, and two daughters, Sharon Pierce and Barbara Burger, all of McArthur; a brother, Robert Remy of McArthur; a sister, Ruth Karshner, of Massieville, Ohio; six grandchildren; and several great and great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Wellston on Friday from 10 A.M. until the time of services at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Jim Harper will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Londonderry Cemetery in Londonderry , Ohio.
