Judith Ann Balzer

Judith Ann Balzer, 87, of Wellston, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Edgewood Manor of Wellston. She was born in Wellston on January 29, 1939, to the late Paul " Woody " Mercer and Geneva R. Gentry Mercer. Judith was employed by the Wellston - Kuppenheimer Trouser Factory for fifteen years as a pocket hanger. She enjoyed her daily walks at Lake Katherine when possible. She had been in failing health for the past six years. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Elaina Renea Balzer. She is survived by her three children : daughter, Tammy L. Lenegar of Wellston, and sons, Philip R. Balzer Jr. of Wellston and Mark A. Balzer of Beaver; two sisters, Debbie Leach ( Charlie ) and Linda Jarvis ( Kenny ); five brothers : Charles " Bud " Mercer ( Dee), Mike Mercer ( Marilyn ), Dave Mercer ( Cindy ), Tim Mercer, and Rick Mercer ( Cathy ); two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
