June Lewis Phillips, 73, passed peacefully away while surrounded by her family at her home in Oak Hill, Ohio, on Friday, March 1, 2024. She was born in Ironton, Ohio on February 6, 1951, to the late Melvin Blevins and Mary Signs Blevins. She was an employee of Luiginos in Jackson for many years in quality control. She enjoyed spending her free time growing flowers in her garden. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Lewis, in 1997, and six brothers and sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Stewart ( Charles ) and Bobbie Jo Royster ( Randy ) of Wellston; three sons: John Lewis Jr. and Brian Lewis of Wellston, and Jeremy Lewis of Florida; a brother, John Manahan ( Barbara Jo ) of Florida; a sister, Janet Manahan of Florida; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and her loving dog, Tubby. Friends may gather at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Wellston on Tuesday at 10 A.M. until the funeral hour at 12 Noon officiated by Rev. Maurice Napper. Burial will follow in the Glen Roy Cemetery.
