LuCinda McManaway

LuCinda "Cindy" McManaway, 74, was called home suddenly on March 31,2020, after battling a short illness. She was born on November 13, 1945, in Wellston, Ohio, to John and Esther McCartney. She was a 1963 graduate of Wellston High School and a 1966 graduate of Holzer's School of Nursing. Over the next 45 years, she worked in nursing in some form, but her heart was always in geriatric medicine. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ferdinand and Louisiana Vowell, paternal grandparents,sisters Elma Jane Walton and Helen Leasure, and niece Jan Robinson. She is survived by Michael, her husband of 53 years; daughters Shanna and Katy ( Gary) Blacklidge; grandsons Gunner and Tucker Blacklidge; nephew John Leasure; numerous other nieces and nephews; and several dear,close, personal friends.
