Margie Mae Allen

Margie Mae Allen, 92, of Wellston,Ohio, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. She was born in Wellston on August 10, 1932, to the late LeRoy McNeal and Gladys Fern Scott McNeal. She attended Wellston High School, married, and raised her three children. She was a member of the American Legion Post #371 Ladies Auxilliary, where she was active in cooking and helping at all events. In her spare time she enjoyed watching the television game show, " Wheel of Fortune" and going for rides around Dundas where she once lived. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Allen; her daughter, Autumn Watters; her brother, Otho McNeal; and her 4 sisters: Eva Jean Huffman, Lee Anna Hatten, Bonnie Kinnison, and Audrey Gail McNeal. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve & Carol Lanane and Terry & Carla Lanane, all of Wellston; five grandchildren : B.J.Taynor, Travis Taynor, Stephanie Lanane, Bret Lanane, and Kevin Lanane; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and special friends Ron & Francie, and Beverly Summers.
