Myrna Jean Lenegar

Myrna Jean Lenegar, 92, of Wellston, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, September 6, 2023, at Four Winds Community. She was born in Wellston on February 17, 1931, to the late Raymond and Georgia M. Arthur Henry. She retired after 35 years employment by the Kuppenheimer Manufacturing Co. in Wellston where she was a seamstress and supervisor. She continued working as a seamstress following her retirement and did sewing for many members of her community. In her spare time, she was an avid bowler. In the summer, she enjoyed hosting family and friends at her pool. She loved the company of her little dogs, Molly and Jasmine. She was married to the late Joseph B. Lenegar, and together they had three children to whom she was a loving mother: the late Mike Lenegar, the late Vicki Lenegar Pelletier, and the late Jeff Lenegar. Mike's wife, Tammy Lenegar, has remained like a daughter to Myrna. She was a devoted sister to her brothers : Rex ( Sue ) Henry of Wellston, the late William " Wayne " ( Margie Sprague ) Henry , and the late Raymond " Buck " ( Ruth ) Henry Jr. and to her sisters, Ida ( Dick ) Mundy of Dayton and Connie ( Max ) Goheen of Mt. Vernon. She was a loving grandmother to Jona ( Jeffery ) Bates, Michael ( Melissa ) Pelletier, and Ian ( Beth ) Lenegar. She also loved her many great grandchildren : Evan ( Gabby ) Lenegar, Cameron ( Jamie ) Butt, Connor ( Andrea ) Bates, JT Pelletier, and Lydia Lenegar. Also, her great-great grandchildren, Addison Lenegar and Weston Butt, along with many nieces and nephews. Myrna also loved her special neighbors, Lorn and Lori Little. Myrna requested cremation to follow her passing. A private graveside memorial will take place at a later date in the RIdgewood Cemetery in Wellston.
